Remodeling or renovating a house dispose of material at transfer station

Remodeling or Renovating

If you have large quantities of old lumber, plaster, roofing, etc., do not overload the Dumpsters with these materials. Make arrangements with a commercial waste hauler or bring it to one of the City's transfer stations.

There are two locations:

  • 4100 South First Street
  • 201 North Humboldt

Hours of operations: open Monday - Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

There is no charge, but you must show your driver's license as proof that you live in the City. Trucks may not be larger than one standard pickup truck and you are limited to one load per month of either refuse or yard waste.

You MUST have a City address on both driver's license and water or utility bill. MUST have Missouri plates on ALL vehicles, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Vehicles that display businesses such as carpenters, electricians, construction, roofing, plumbing, concrete work, maintenance man, hauling, etc. will not be allowed to dump.

For more information see the Resident Dumping Guidelines page.
