Project Connect in North St. Louis
Project Connect is a City of St. Louis initiative that connects current initiatives being proposed by both the public and private sector. Project Connect will ensure coordination and collaboration between neighborhood revitalization, transportation, and other re-development efforts and the City’s investments to support NGA in 8 North St. Louis neighborhoods; St. Louis Place, Old North St. Louis, JeffVanderLou, Carr Square, Columbus Square, Hyde Park, Downtown West and the North Riverfront.

Neighborhood Vision
The Project Connect team will work with citizens to determine how to best utilize public funding opportunities and investments. Residents have a critical role in providing input to the City regarding this significant transformation and how it should be undertaken.

Infrastructure Improvements
Project Connect has identified a series of priority infrastructure investments that will improve accessibility to North St. Louis, and provide additional mechanisms to improve safety and security, walkability, storm water management and economic development opportunities.
The priority infrastructure investments include;
1. Interstate 64/40 Interchange at Jefferson Ave. Visit MoDOT for more information at https://www.modot.org/i-64-jefferson-interchange
2. Interstate 64/40 City Streets (22nd St., Scott, Ewing, Clark Aves.)
3. N. Jefferson Ave. and N. 20th Street (Market to Natural Bridge Ave.)
4. Cass Ave. (Tucker Blvd. to Elliot Ave.)
