Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position supervise and instruct youth in the sport of boxing. Responsibilities include: teaching conditioning exercises; instructing children and adults in the proper methods of boxing; instructing and enforcing rules of the game; timely record keeping and setting up and taking down the boxing ring. These are part-time positions and are not eligible for the Employee Benefits Program and do not require City residency.

Some experience participating in a recognized instructional boxing program; OR: Some experience as a boxing trainer, coach, instructor, or official. Must have written documentation of qualifying volunteer work experience.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Current certification in first aid and CPR; Boxing Coach certificate; prior experience officiating boxing matches.
