ST. LOUIS -- In this first time, one-day event, the non-profit Saluting Branches, Arborists United for Veteran Remembrance, is organizing volunteer tree and landscape professionals to work on property dedicated to our veterans in 35 locations across the nation, including Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis.
"Giving a day of our time with our expert crews to show our appreciation of the brave men and women who have served our country is an honor," Forestry Commissioner Skip Kincaid said. "The City has offered to provide a bucket truck, loader, and crew to assist beautifying our local national cemetery."
