Below freezing temperatures for the St. Louis metropolitan area are anticipated through New Year’s Day. Winter outreach and shelter operations are in effect for the City of St. Louis and will operate through Monday, January 1st. Operations will be extended if the freezing temperatures persist.
Through partnerships with nonprofit agencies, volunteer groups and various departments within the City, winter operations efforts include increased outreach activities and additional shelter bed availability to accommodate unsheltered homeless men, women, and children.
