Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC)
The purpose of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is to ensure the fair administration of criminal and juvenile justice.
Overview
The Council and its Committees comprise of elected and appointed officials along with senior level stakeholders from criminal and juvenile justice agencies, government administration and key cross-sector organizations like public health, human services, transportation, housing.
The purpose of the Council is to ensure the fair administration of criminal and juvenile justice by increasing effective communication, collaboration and planning; and, to improve the criminal and juvenile systems' operation through effective data collection, sharing and analysis crosscutting the local criminal and public health systems.
Ordinance 71012 Establishes the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.
