Child Asthma Services

Home assessment assistance, school education program and outreach


City of St. Louis residents can request home assessment assistance to find and fix asthma triggers.


  • Address must be located in the City of St. Louis
  • Parent or guardian must be present during the scheduled appointment
  • Provide a written list of current asthma medication 
  • Have a copy of the asthma action plan provided by a medical provider


Appointments are available between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Resident must be available for a minimum of two hours for a thorough assessment.


 This is a free service.

What to Expect

 A thorough evaluation will require a two hour visit.

An asthma assessment survey for the child will need to be completed by the parent or guardian.

Asthma triggers home assessment workbook will be provided to assist with identification of triggers.
